Metaphor genious and surreal narrator of every day life. Each page from every book he has written is a perfect combination between ordinary, dark comedy, grotesque and surreal passages.

Keret is an idealist who believes that things can get better, even at the darkest point, and even though he writes about death and suicide, he considers living the most important thing in the world.

Worldwide, he is recognized for his fiction and short stories and is considered as the biggest exponent of modern hebrew fiction for his magnifiscent use of coloquial language to tell every day stories. His books are bestsellers in Israel and have been translated to 40 languages. Besides short stories, Keret is also author of his memoirs, children books and storylines. Some of his stories have been taken to the big screen such as Wristcutters, $9.99, and What We Have in Our Pockets. His first job as a director was on the movie Jellyfish, which granted him the Camera d’Or Award for Best Opera Prima at Cannes Festival. A creative with a huge global impact that will be at the 5th edition of #TagCDMX 2017 to share his experience on how the great stories become real.
